One freighter full loaded Anshan Steel heavy rail (about 24,000 tons) set sail from Yingkou port on May 13, this cargo will be shipped to Nigeria and will be used in Abuja-Kaduna Modern Railway Engineering Project.
Anshan Steel had supplied heavy rail to the Abuja city railway project previous, and Anshan Steel brand received good reputation, so this time, Anshan Steel get all the 24,000 tons order that will be used in Abuja-Kaduna Modern Railway Engineering Project.
Recent years, Anshan Steel brand heavy rail had shipped to Thailand, Australia, Vietnam and China Taiwan.
Nigerian government announced to complete the modernization of the railway in 25 year in August 2006. Abuja-Kaduna Modern Railway Engineering Project is one part of the plan, this line is 186.5 km long, and will use 24,000 tons rail.
